Select one girl to be 'It'. Give her a soft ball. The rest of the girls all line up at one end of the room. The girl that it is 'It' then calls out any words she can think of beginning with S. They girls have to all stay against the wall until the girl thats 'It' says Squids.
Once Squids is called the girls have to run to the other end of the room trying to avoid being hit by the ball (below the waist!) and stop when they reach the wall.
If they get hit by the ball they become a squid. They have to find a space in the middle of the hall and stop. THEY CANNOT MOVE OFF OF THIS SPACE, but they can move their arms like tentacles.
The game continues like this until there is only one girl left and the rest are squids. The only girl that can move once on is the girl that is 'It'.

Each of the girls has to sit in a chair in a circle around the edge of the hall, well spaced out. The leader then has to give an instruction such as "run if you're wearing blue" (always a good one to start with, assuming they're wearing uniform!!) or "run if you have a sibling". It can be anything at all that you like, although you want it to be something that makes as many of the girls run as possible.
Once you have given an instruction any of the girls that it applies to have to run as fast as possible to another chair.
They cannot swap with someone specifically. They cannot go back to their own chair and they cannot just go to the chair next to them.
Do a few practice rounds, then each round once you have made the new statement but whilst the girls are still running take on of the chairs away so each round someone is out. When there are 2 girls left make one stand at each end of the room. place 2 chairs in the middle of the room side by side facing each of the girls and count to 3. On 3 the girls have to race to sit in their chair. The first girl to sit in her chair wins!

You need: 1 large bar of chocolate, 1 dice, a hat, scarf and gloves and a knife and fork.
Unwrap the chocolate and put it on a table to one side of the room. Sit the girls in a circle a small distance from the chocolate. They have to take it in turns to roll the dice, each girl gets one go to roll the dice and passes it on. If on her go the girl rolls a 6 she has to run to the table, put on the hat scarf and gloves and cut the chocolate up with the knife and fork. Any chocolate that she cuts up she can eat. She gets to keep cutting and eating until someone else rolls a 6.
As soon as someone else rolls a 6 she has to swap places with the girl in the hat, scarf and gloves. This is great as sometimes they wont have time to even cut a piece before someone else rolls a 6!

Divide the girls into teams, up to 7 per team. Each of the girls has a number. It is just like a normal relay race, they have to run up to the end of the room and back holding a plate as a steering wheel and passing it on to the next girl in the line.
#1 - Nervous Driver - takes runs up and back taking 3 steps forward and 1 step back.
#2 - Broken Steering Wheel - runs up and back zig zagging.
#3 - Dead battery - runs up and back getting pushed along by number 4.
#4 - Dead battery - runs up and back being pushed along number 3.
#5 - Flat tyre - Runs up and back dragging 1 leg.
#6 - Stuck in Reverse - Runs up and back backwards.
#7 - Teenage driver - Runs up and back as quickly as possible.

Get the girls to stand in a circle. Give them a toilet roll and instruct them to take some of it. No matter how much they ask don't tell them what it's for!!
Once the toilet roll has come back to the beginning and they have all taken at least 1 piece of the roll instruct the girls to count how many sheets they have. Once they have all counted their pieces they have to take it in turns in the circle to say one thing about themselves for each piece of the toilet paper. Excellent getting to know you game!

Get the girls to stand in a circle with one of them in the middle. The girl in the middle has a ball and she has to throw it to someone calling out their name and either drop it or catch it.
The girl whose name she has called has to do the opposite to what she has been instructed. Drops when she is told to catch and catch when she is told to drop.
If she gets it wrong she has to it down on the floor in the circle. The last girl standing wins.

You start this game with the back story:
It's a really hot summers day and you are waiting in the departure lounge at the airport when an announcement comes over the tannoy informing you that your flight has been delayed. As you're sitting there someone walks in and as its so sunny they're really sweaty and smelly and you don't want them sitting next to you.
All of the girls are sitting in a circle on chairs facing outwards. You pick one of them to stand on the inside of the set of chairs. She then needs to try and sit in the empty seat. But as the story says the rest of the girls don't want them sitting in the seat next to them. All of the girls are allowed to move around the circle only sliding into the chair next to her though. The aim of the game is to not allow the girl on the inside to get into the empty chair.
